Tim Schulz lives in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. His business cards say professor of engineering, but he lives a secret life as a writer, musician, part-time fishing guide, and sluggish skater on North America’s slowest and oldest hockey team. His writings appear in Hatch Magazine and The Flyfish Journal, along with the book The Habits of Trout—And Other Unsolved Mysteries. And coming in May 2024, Lyons Press will release his book, A Cast Away in Montana, including illustrations by Bob White and a foreword by Jerry Dennis.
Tim is a member of the Michigan Outdoor Writers Association and the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
